How to use the three modes

4 steps to an answer

Whichever mode you pick, the flow is short: choose dates, read the answer, copy it. Below we walk through the days between, workdays, and countdown modes one step at a time.

Days Between mode

  1. Pick the start date

Tap the first date field and pick the day you want to count from.

  2. Pick the end date

Tap the second date field for the end day. Desktop shows the answer instantly; on mobile, tap "Calculate".

  3. Read the big number

The main number is the gap in days, and the "N days inclusive" line tells you the version that counts both ends.

  4. Copy the result

Tap "Copy result" for a plain sentence (e.g. "2026/02/04 to 2026/06/11 is 128 days apart") you can paste anywhere.

Workdays mode (weekends excluded)

  1. Switch to "Workdays"

Tap "Workdays" in the mode row; the signature underline turns amber to remind you that you're counting working days.

  2. Pick the start and end dates

Pick the start and end day as usual; the tool automatically removes the Saturdays and Sundays in between.

  3. Check the breakdown

The main number is the count of working days, with "Total N days | Weekend N days" beneath for cross-checking.

Countdown mode (just one date)

  1. Switch to "Countdown"

The second date field collapses and the input becomes a single field — you only need one target date.

  2. Pick the target date

Pick the day you're waiting for, and the main number shows "N days left" (green) or "N days ago" (slate).
