How do I preview Markdown?

Type Markdown in the editor on the left, and the preview on the right updates in real time. On desktop you can drag the splitter to adjust the ratio, or switch to "Editor" / "Preview" to focus on one side.

Which syntax is supported?

Headings, bold, italic, links, ordered and unordered lists, blockquotes, inline code and code blocks, and horizontal rules — the common Markdown syntax.

Can I take the result with me?

Yes. The preview toolbar offers "Copy HTML" to copy the rendered HTML source, or "Export" to download an .html file. Switching to the clean "Preview" view also makes it easy to screenshot and share.

Can I undo a clear?

Yes. After you click "Clear", the button temporarily turns into "Undo" — click it again within 6 seconds to restore what you just cleared, so a mis-click won't wipe a long document.
