Introduction
Fire-Frame (hereinafter "the Service" or "we") is an in-browser micro-tool platform built by the MarkuWorld team, currently in continuous iteration. This statement explains the nature of the Service, the scope of our self-developed apps, our AI-assisted development disclosure, and the responsibility boundaries you should understand when using the Service.
Please read this statement before using the Service; continued use indicates that you understand and accept the explanations below.
1. Nature of the Service
1.1 Experimental and Iterative Nature
The Service is a micro-tool platform currently in continuous iteration. We add and adjust apps, platform features, and design styles at a "ship-then-refine" cadence; some features are experimental and may be in testing, adjustment, or evaluation for retirement at the time you read this statement.
We endeavor to maintain the availability and correctness of each app, but we do not guarantee that any app will be 100% accurate, complete, or uninterrupted in all situations.
1.2 AI-Assisted Development Disclosure
The code, design, documentation, policy text, and the logic of the apps currently published by the team are developed by the MarkuWorld team with the assistance of AI tools. AI tools participated in the following scopes:
- Code authoring, review, and refactoring
- UI design and styling adjustments
- Documentation authoring (including this statement)
- Core logic and data-processing flows of each app
- Test-case design and quality checks
AI-assisted development is now common industry practice; this disclosure is intended to help you understand the development nature of the Service: we conduct human review and testing before delivery to confirm quality, but the nature of AI assistance means we cannot guarantee that outputs are 100% flawless. If you find any errors, inconsistencies, or improvements during use, you are welcome to let us know via our contact channels.
1.3 Source Scope of the Apps
The apps currently published on the Service are all self-developed by the MarkuWorld team; we do not resell commercial software developed by others nor embed third-party paid SaaS services. The functional scope, calculation logic, and data sources of these team-developed apps are designed and implemented by us; some apps rely on public data (such as fund data), whose accuracy and timeliness are constrained by the source, and we explain this on each app's subpage.
In addition, once FireFrame's planned App Workshop (see the next section, "User-Created Apps") opens, users will be able to create and publish apps themselves. Such user-created apps are not designed or implemented by us; their ownership and responsibility boundaries are governed by the "User-Created Apps (App Workshop)" section and are distinguished from the team-developed apps described in this section.
1.4 Voluntary Use and Self-Borne Risk
The Service is offered for free with no registration or login required; your use of the Service is entirely voluntary. You should judge for yourself whether each app's output is suitable for your purpose; for any decisions, choices, or actions you make based on the Service's outputs, you bear the results and risks.
2. User-Created Apps (App Workshop)
2.1 Nature and Scope of the Workshop
FireFrame's planned App Workshop is a feature that will let users create, test, and publish apps themselves with AI assistance. This section describes the terms that will apply once that feature opens; before the Workshop formally opens, the apps published on the Service remain primarily team-developed (see Section 1.3). This section is written in the tense of "planned" and "once open" to describe a future mechanism, and does not constitute any promise or guarantee that the Service currently offers a user-creation feature.
Once the Workshop opens, its complete usage rules, publishing process, eligible participants, and revenue mechanism (if any) will be announced separately via dedicated Workshop terms or an explanatory page; this section first sets out the principles regarding ownership, responsibility boundaries, and the platform's role.
2.2 Intellectual Property and Allocation of Responsibility
For apps a user creates through the Workshop, as well as the content the user provides during creation (such as requirement descriptions, materials, and settings), ownership and responsibility rest with the user who creates that app. The user shall warrant that:
- The app and input content they create or publish do not infringe any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or other lawful rights
- The app and input content are lawful and do not violate local laws or this statement, and do not contain any prohibited content listed in the content commitments of our "About Us" page
- They hold the lawful rights or licenses to the materials and content they provide
Any claim, dispute, or damage arising from a user-created app or its input content is the responsibility of that user; if it causes loss to the Service or any third party, that user shall bear the corresponding legal responsibility.
2.3 The Platform's Role
For user-created apps, FireFrame acts as a hosting and aggregation platform and is not the author or developer of such apps. We provide the tools and hosting environment for creating and publishing apps, but we make no endorsement or guarantee as to the functionality, correctness, quality, security, or legality of user-created apps. User-created apps and the team's flagship apps differ in source and responsibility: team-developed apps are designed and implemented by us per Section 1.3, while user-created apps are the responsibility of the user who publishes them.
2.4 Content Review and Takedown Rights
To maintain the platform environment, we reserve the right to review, suspend, or take down any user-created app that violates this statement, involves infringement, or fails to meet the Service's content standards, without prior notice. We may take such measures based on a report, our own discovery, or a competent-authority request.
If you find any user-created app that may be infringing, unlawful, or inappropriate, you are welcome to report it to us via the email under "Contact Us" below; we will assess and handle it within a reasonable time.
2.5 Disclaimer for User-Created Apps
User-created apps are provided "as-is"; we do not guarantee their functionality, correctness, availability, security, or legality. Your use of any user-created app is entirely voluntary and at your own risk; for any decisions, choices, or actions you make based on the outputs of a user-created app, you bear the results and risks. The scope of disclaimer set out in the "Disclaimer," "Disclaimers by App Category," and "Maximum Liability Limitation" sections of this statement applies equally to user-created apps, to the extent permitted by law.
3. Disclaimer
3.1 As-Is Provision
The Service, each app, and their outputs are provided "as-is" and "as-available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Merchantability
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement
- Accuracy, completeness, timeliness
- Continuous availability, uninterrupted, error-free
3.2 Not Professional Advice
Any output from the Service does not constitute any form of professional advice, including but not limited to:
- Investment, financial, or tax advice
- Legal or accounting advice
- Medical or health advice
- Examination or educational hit-rate guarantee
- Business decision or contract-signing advice
If you require any professional advice, you should consult a qualified professional.
3.3 Third-Party Data Source Disclaimer
The content of some apps (especially information-tracking apps such as fund-tracker) is sourced from public data or third-party data sources; the accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of such data are constrained by the sources, and we have made reasonable efforts to select reliable sources but cannot independently verify the correctness of every record.
If you make any decisions based on third-party data displayed by the Service, please verify with the original source (such as financial-institution official sites or government public-data platforms); for any discrepancies between the original source and what the Service displays, the original source prevails.
3.4 Service-Interruption Disclaimer
The Service may be temporarily or permanently interrupted for the following reasons, and we are not responsible for any resulting losses:
- System maintenance, version updates, technical upgrades
- Outages or changes of third-party services (such as Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure, Google Analytics, Google AdSense)
- Force majeure events (such as natural disasters, war, government orders)
- Cyber attacks, malicious behavior
- Our commercial judgment to retire, suspend, or terminate specific apps
3.5 User-Conduct Self-Responsibility
When using the Service, you shall:
- Comply with local laws and this statement
- Refrain from harassment, attacks, infringement, or any conduct that violates regulations or public order
- Take responsibility for content you input, upload, or generate in each app; the Service does not review, store, or endorse it
- If you use content from the Service (including screenshots, outputs) elsewhere, you shall verify that such use is lawful and non-infringing
- If you create or publish a user-created app through the App Workshop (planned, once open), comply with the ownership and content rules set out in Section 2, "User-Created Apps (App Workshop)"
3.6 Third-Party Link Disclaimer
The Service may contain links to third-party websites, apps, or services (including ad links); we are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or security of third-party sites. When you follow a link to a third-party site, you should review that site's terms and privacy policy.
Ad links are served by Google AdSense; ad content is filtered by the AdSense system according to its policy, and we do not individually review each ad. If you see an inappropriate ad, you may click the "i" icon at the top-right of the ad to report it, or contact us via our channels.
4. Disclaimers by App Category
The apps on the Service fall into several categories by their nature, each with its own usage notice and responsibility boundaries. The following applies to the apps in each corresponding category and is substantively consistent with the disclaimer notices shown on each app's subpage. This section is the full version of the per-category disclaimers.
4.1 Information-Tracking Apps | Data Source and Usage Notice
The fund information shown by apps in this category (such as the fund tracker, fund-tracker) is for reference only and does not constitute any form of investment advice. Past performance does not predict future results; investing involves risk.
- Data Sources: Fund data comes from Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE) and Taipei Exchange (TPEX) public data, official announcements from selected fund companies, and public financial-data APIs.
- Timeliness: Displayed data may lag by 15 minutes to 1 business day; on holidays and non-trading days, data may match the most recent trading day; during system maintenance, data may not be updated temporarily.
- Important Reminders: Read the fund prospectus carefully before subscribing or redeeming; if you make any investment decision based on data from the Service, please verify with the original source (the fund company official site, the TWSE official site, your brokerage or bank account). Where the original source differs from what the Service displays, the original source prevails. Investment decisions are made at your own discretion and risk.
- Our Liability Boundary: We have made reasonable efforts to select reliable sources but cannot independently verify the accuracy and timeliness of every record. We are not responsible for any losses caused by any investment decision made based on data from the Service.
4.2 Education Apps | Question Bank Source and Usage Notice
The question bank of apps in this category (such as the bank exam quiz, bank-exam-quiz) is generated by AI; it is for learning and practice only, with no guarantee of exam hits or exam pass.
- Question Bank Sources: The question bank is generated by the MarkuWorld team using AI tools; the questions cover topics common to bank recruitment exams, such as programming, logical reasoning, and financial knowledge. They are original AI-generated questions, not reproductions or reposts of any real past exam papers.
- Question Correctness: We have made reasonable efforts to proofread each question; however, the questions are AI-generated and may contain errors, disputes, or inconsistencies with the latest financial regulations; financial regulations may change over time, and the correct answer to some questions may shift due to regulatory updates. If you find any errors, you are welcome to report them via our contact channels.
- Important Reminders: For the questions, scoring, and grading standards of an actual exam, refer to the announcement of the exam organizer; practice scores are for your self-assessment and do not represent actual exam performance. If you are preparing for a formal exam, we recommend pairing the Service with the latest past papers and official materials announced by the exam organizer.
- Our Liability Boundary: We are not responsible for any exam outcome caused by exam preparation based on the Service's question bank.
4.3 Productivity and Tool Apps | Usage Notice and Disclaimer
For apps in this category (most productivity tools, developer tools, and image-processing tools), computation and processing results are for reference only and may contain errors due to various factors; please back up important files before processing.
- Important Reminders: Computation and processing results are for reference only and may have errors due to browser version, file format edge cases, or input data boundary conditions; processing large files may fail due to memory limits—we recommend splitting files before processing; for important file processing, back up the original file beforehand to avoid data loss from unexpected results.
- Our Liability Boundary: We are not responsible for any losses caused by errors in processing results; we are not responsible for data loss caused by processing failures.
4.4 Game and Entertainment Apps | Entertainment Notice
Apps in this category (such as games like single-dog-days) are for entertainment only; they do not serve any educational, training, certification, or commercial purpose. Game outcomes do not represent any real-world abilities or qualifications.
- Purpose: Game rules, scoring, and difficulty design are authored by the MarkuWorld team and do not correspond to any external standards; game outcomes (score, ranking, achievements) do not represent any real-world abilities or qualifications; characters, storylines, and text shown in the game are original designs for entertainment purposes and do not refer to any real person or event.
- Important Reminders: Game content, difficulty, and outcomes are for entertainment only and do not constitute any real-world reference value; some experimental apps are early experimental versions and may have incomplete features, rough interactions, or unfinished visuals—this is normal development; addiction to games may harm physical and mental health, so play in moderation and take breaks.
- Our Liability Boundary: We are not responsible for any subjective feelings or behaviors arising from game outcomes, experiences, or achievements.
5. Maximum Liability Limitation
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we, the MarkuWorld team, and our collaborators are not responsible for any of the following losses:
- Direct losses: monetary or property losses from using or being unable to use the Service
- Indirect losses: including but not limited to loss of profits, business interruption, loss of goodwill, data loss
- Consequential losses: subsequent losses from decisions made based on the Service's outputs
- Punitive damages
Whether such losses are based on contract, tort, strict liability, warranty, or any other legal theory, and whether or not we have been advised of the possibility of such losses.
If the governing law does not permit all or part of the above limitations, our total liability shall be limited to the amount you paid us for using the Service in the most recent twelve (12) months (since the Service is free, the practical cap is zero New Taiwan Dollars).
6. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This statement shall be interpreted and applied under the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan). Any dispute arising from this statement or the Service shall be subject to the Taipei District Court of Taiwan as the court of first instance.
If you use the Service outside the Republic of China (Taiwan), you shall additionally comply with the local laws of that jurisdiction; where the local laws conflict with this statement, the local laws prevail solely for the conflicting clause, and other clauses remain in effect.
7. Changes to This Statement
This statement may be updated from time to time; changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date. Significant changes will be announced on the Preferences page for 30 days; continued use of the Service indicates your acceptance of the updated content.
